Let’s not get carried away, we all thought. Let’s see how these three tricky away games in the space of eight days pan out...
Game One. Norwich. Never a happy hunting ground. And midweek...we don’t do midweek aways. 25 minutes, reduced to 10 men. Here we go. Hang on, come half time we’re one up and it could’ve been three...second half, backs to the wall...holding on...then they hit the side netting in injury time. This has NOT gone according to script...
Game Two. Coventry. Hard to predict...other than the suspicion it’ll be after the Lord Mayor’s Show. First half it is...soft penno, 1-0 Cov...second half...hang on ...revitalised...dominant...non-stop possession...attack v defence...ok, we fail to score, but again we have deviated from the normal plot
