Liam Gallagher (Goal - not in goal, his mouth as a goal)
Noel Gallagher - midfield general as that is his role in Oasis (The charismatic Liam to be brought on when we're losing so that the fans go home happy)
Nick Leeson - Goal ( a safe pair of hands - can use him anywhere though but probably not in the accounts department)
Eddie Large - Goal - He's got it covered (all of it!)
Rick Wakeman - winger - the mazy run that is his stock in trade on the keyboard would translate nicely into his wing play
John Stapleton - Captain - He's allowed to talk to the ref and would cross question him into submission (worth 2 or 3 penalties a game)
Ricky Hatton - Defence - only 1 in 37 get past him - put him on the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and let's see how many goals they score then!
Bernard Manning - play him anywhere where there's an opponent with even the remotest hint of difference about him, he'll wind them up and get them sent off - don't let him anywhere near the referee though ("Hey ref! next time you meet your parents, maybe you should introduce them to each other.")
Ed's note: can I nominate Mike Pickering? Be it as Hacienda DJ or M People band leader, he would presumably rival Noel as midfield general - or maybe a role could be found for him at centre half...
